Palm Beach Circuit judge, Jack Cox, has again rejected a subpoena for the investigation of Shapiro & Fishman law firm. As detail in a previous Florida Foreclosure Lawyer's blog, The Attorney General Bill McCollum wants to investigate the foreclosure practices of Shapiro & Fishman law firm and three others who have handle thousands of Foreclosures. Judge Cox rejected the Subpoena on the grounds that the Attorney General cannot investigate law firms through Florida's deceptive and unfair trade laws.
